「聖なる結婚」は、ユング派の分析がめざすゴールのイメージのひとつです。
内なる結婚、つまり個人のこころの中で、自分の知っている自分と自分の知らない自分が結婚するのです。

あなたがふたつのものをひとつにするとき、
内を外のように、外を内のように、上を下のようにするとき、
男性と女性とをひとつにし、男性がもはや男性ではなく、
